Speech Language Pathology Assistant Tampa Bay Speech-language & Reading Clinic Lithia, FL Job Details Part-time $24 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Working with families Full Job Description Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Tampa Bay Speech, Language & Reading Clinic - FishHawk, FL Part-Time | Opportunity to Grow to Full-Time Tampa Bay Speech, Language & Reading Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team! We are a well-established private practice serving children and families in the FishHawk/Lithia area. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLPA who enjoys working with children, values individualized therapy, and wants to grow professionally within a supportive clinical team. The position will begin part-time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position as caseload and scheduling needs increase. Responsibilities Provide individual speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities Work with children with a variety of speech, language, literacy, and communication needs Accurately document therapy sessions and maintain clinical records Communicate professionally with parents, caregivers, and the clinical team Participate in ongoing training and professional development Build positive relationships with children and families Collaborate with SLPs and other members of the clinical team Qualifications Current Florida SLPA license/certification or eligibility to obtain Florida licensure Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Strong communication and organizational skills Enjoys working with children and families Dependable, professional, and enthusiastic Ability to work independently while accepting supervision and feedback Previous pediatric experience is preferred but not required What We Offer Part-time position with opportunity to grow to full-time Supportive and experienced clinical team Pediatric-focused private practice Opportunities to expand clinical skills and experience Ongoing training and mentorship Positive, family-centered environment Opportunity to build a consistent caseload Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications Tampa Bay Speech, Language & Reading Clinic is a well-established private practice dedicated to helping children develop their communication, language, literacy, and learning skills.
