Job Description

Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour | Part time: minimum of 25 hours | Full time: 36+ hours
Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must: Have a bachelor's degree or bridge program completion in Speech Language Pathology Be eligible to hold a medical Florida Speech Language Pathology Assistant license to conduct speech and language therapy in Florida Be able to pass a Level II background checks
Job Requirements:
Responsibilities include assisting in evaluations, screenings, providing therapy, & timely documentation of therapy notes Areas we support: autism, AAC, fluency, speech-sounds, early - adolescent language, parent coaching Comfort with working with a variety of ages (primarily 2 - 16) is required Openness to work in office & in the community settings is required Traveling between sites in Leon County is required. Privacy compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and state regulations is required .

Complete online documentation in a timely, consistent, organized manner Demonstrate reliable , good faith actions , commitment, honesty, and follow-through in all aspects of care.

Due to the nature of graduate level programs, full time graduate students (even if virtual) are not able to commit to the required consistency. This position does not offer standard benefits of health insurance, PTO, or holiday pay. Is this a position you are able to commit to? This position can entail traveling between different sites in Tallahassee. Are you comfortable with commuting between locations? This positions requires a very specific college level coursework addressing speech language pathology in order to obtain an SLPA license. Have you completed or will soon complete the required coursework? This position will have a slow introduction to the caseload as we serve patients 1:1 and create individualized plans. Does a slowly accruing caseload match your needs?
