1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week travel contract in an acute care hospital Speech Therapy department, with a minimum of 15-18 months of recent SLP experience required. Details 8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, schedule may vary 5 shifts per week in an acute care Speech Therapy department Supports a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses including ICU patients, stroke/neurological, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, and cognitive cases Patient care is driven by physician orders across the hospital No on-call responsibilities Requirements Active Georgia SLP license required (license required if applicable) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Current AHA BLS certification required Minimum of 15-18 months of recent SLP experience within the specialty Driver's License required for consideration Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront prior to offer Additional Information Prior acute care SLP experience is strongly desirable Proficiency in Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) and/or Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) is a plus but not required Local candidates are accepted for this position; no radius restriction applies Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have at least a 2-year break from the facility before being considered First-time travelers are welcome to apply
