Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in an educational setting near Dahlonega, GA. This contracted role spans from July 27, 2026, through May 21, 2027, and offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact across multiple school sites within the district. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Communication Science Disorders required Experience in school-based settings preferred Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing environments Team-minded approach, with a commitment to supporting student success
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in delivering speech-language therapy services under the supervision of licensed SLPs Engage with diverse student populations in various school locations throughout the contract term Prepare and maintain session documentation and progress notes Support the development and implementation of individual therapy plans Collaborate with educational staff, families, and other professionals to support students' communication needs This assignment offers a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, allowing for a healthy work-life balance throughout the academic year.
