Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on a flexible, contract basis. Essential Qualifications:

Associate's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program Valid SLPA license, in good standing Experience in a school setting or working with school-aged children is highly desired Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, and families Strong interpersonal skills, compassion, and enthusiasm for student success Excellent communication and documentation skills Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage a small caseload independently

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out therapy sessions individually or in small groups, following treatment plans developed by a supervising SLP Support implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collect and record student progress data Assist in preparing session materials and activities Participate in team meetings and communicate observations to the SLP and education team Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards
