Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Lexington, KY. This role focuses on supporting speech and language development for students, working closely with licensed speech-language pathologists to implement individualized therapy plans and facilitate student progress in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy sessions tailored to student needs Prepare materials and documentation required for therapy sessions Monitor and report on student progress and adjust approaches under supervision Collaborate with educators, parents, and therapists to promote effective communication strategies Maintain confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines in all student interactions
