Job Description
Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract A Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for on-site contract work in schools located in Iowa and Louisiana. This role offers the opportunity to work with manageable caseloads within a very supportive special education environment, fostering professional growth and student success.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Active Louisiana state SLPA licensure is required by the start date Experience in school or pediatric settings is preferred but not mandatory Ability to work full or part time on-site in the school setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, therapists, and familiesResponsibilities:
Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) Document student progress and maintain compliance with district and state regulations Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating a positive learning environmentLocation:
