Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a lively educational environment. This contract position offers immediate start and full-time hours, running from 8:25am to 3:10pm on scheduled school days. You'll play a key role in helping students develop essential communication skills while collaborating with dedicated educational professionals. Your caseload will span a diverse range of ages and needs, with the director estimating you'll manage between 30-40 students. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid SLPA license or eligibility for licensure Previous experience in a school setting as an SLPA highly preferred Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team Organizational skills and adaptability to shifting student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language intervention services under the supervision of a licensed SLP Support individualized education plan (IEP) goals for assigned students Assist with speech and language screenings and progress monitoring Document student progress and maintain accurate records Communicate regularly with supervising SLP and attend required meetings Perks of this
