Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active SLPA license in the state or eligibility to obtain Previous experience supporting speech-language services in a school setting preferred Ability to work collaboratively with SLPs, educators, students, and families Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills Compassionate, energetic approach to working with young learners Familiarity with IEPs and goal-based service delivery is valuable
Key Responsibilities:
Implement therapy activities as planned by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists Work with students individually and in small groups to target speech, language, and communication goals Track student progress and maintain detailed records of sessions and outcomes Support SLP in conducting screenings and assisting with assessments Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative team discussions as needed This contract position allows you to focus on student impact, with opportunities for professional enrichment and collaboration.
