Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position as an SLPA, supporting students in grades K-4 with speech and language needs. Based near Attleboro, MA, this full-time opportunity (32.5 hours per week) offers the chance to make a real impact in a school environment from now through June 4, 2027. Work alongside passionate educators, providing essential services that help children grow and succeed.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid SLPA license for the state of Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain) Experience or coursework related to pediatric populations and school-based settings preferred Strong communication skills for collaborating with SLPs, teachers, and families Ability to tailor support to a range of communication needs Organized, flexible, and motivated to foster student progress Familiar with documentation requirements for tracking student goals
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language services to K-4 students under the supervision of a licensed SLP Implement therapy plans and activities to support communication goals Collect and maintain data on student progress and participation Assist with screening procedures and progress monitoring Contribute to lesson planning and adapting materials for individual student needs Communicate effectively with staff and families to support student outcomes Attend team meetings and professional development as requested This is a fantastic opportunity to experience diverse caseloads, collaborate with a skilled team, and help young children build essential life skills.
