Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant supporting students' communication and language development. This contracted role focuses on providing essential SLPA services in a vibrant educational environment every Wednesday, helping children reach their fullest potential. As an integral part of a collaborative special education team, you will work with supervising SLPs to deliver targeted interventions and supports to students. Key Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts SLPA license Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmospherePrimary Duties:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students as directed by supervising SLP Assist with screening, assessment, and documentation of student progress Support development and generalization of communication skills in classroom settings Prepare materials and adapt activities for student sessions Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines Collaborate and consult with staff and families as needed This contract position covers Wednesdays only, from 7:25am to 2:20pm, offering a consistent weekly schedule and predictable hours. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through January 15, 2027, providing excellent professional continuity.
