Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP or SLPA) to make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting near Cambridge, MA. This contract position starts as soon as possible and runs through the end of the current school year, with the potential for extended summer (ESY) services. Enjoy a dynamic workday supporting elementary students—primarily focusing on compensatory services—while working alongside dedicated educational teams. Candidates with
SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, SLP
with pediatric or healthcare experience, or licensed SLPAs with school or healthcare backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Key Qualifications:
Active state license as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA Prior experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills Collaborative approach within multidisciplinary teams Reliable means of transportation for travel between two nearby schools (15 minutes apart) Passion for supporting elementary-age students
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy with a focus on compensatory services Manage an elementary caseload, ensuring individualized support for each student Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with IEPs and school guidelines Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success Adapt strategies to meet diverse learning needs Travel between two local schools during the school day
