What you'll need: Current, active Massachusetts SLPA license Previous experience in a school-based setting, ideally serving elementary and/or middle school age groups Strong communication skills and an ability to engage diverse student populations Commitment to working the full school year calendar (start ASAP, ending June 18, 2027) Flexibility to travel between three schools within the district Day-to-day responsibilities: Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, implementing IEPs and therapy plans Assist with screenings, assessments, data collection, and progress monitoring Collaborate with teaching teams, special education staff, and families to help students meet communication goals Support classroom-based interventions and reinforce carryover of skills in educational settings Maintain accurate documentation and recordkeeping in compliance with all district and state requirements This contract role averages 34 hours per week and will allow you to work with diverse caseloads, gaining valuable experience across multiple grade levels.
