Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A specialized contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a high school setting focused on students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. The assignment will take place in Ludlow, MA, within a program designed to support personalized education and promote student independence outside of traditional classrooms.

Ludlow, MA Duration:
July 6, 2026 - August 7, 2026, with potential consideration for the 2026/2027 school year
Hours:
15-20 hours per week, spread over 2-3 days
Setting:
Compass High Program at Ludlow High School, specializing in supportive education for high school students with ASD and related challenges
Caseload:
Focused on AAC services; experience with AAC interventions is required though formal AAC evaluations are not mandatory
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure meeting all state requirements for SLP practice in schools Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience working with high school students, particularly those with ASD or learning differences Competency in AAC service delivery and individualized communication support strategies
Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted speech-language therapy to students within the Compass High Program Collaborate with educational team members to tailor interventions and support personalized learning goals Utilize AAC techniques to enhance communication and independence among students Maintain accurate documentation as required by state and program standards
