Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact supporting students across elementary and middle schools as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a dynamic educational setting. This contract opportunity extends through the 2026-2027 school year, offering a unique chance to be part of a collaborative team setting providing services at three schools near Lawrence, MA. With 34 hours per week, you'll get valuable experience, growth, and the satisfaction of helping children develop vital communication skills.
What You'll Need:
  • Active Massachusetts SLPA license
  • Experience working in elementary and/or middle school settings preferred
  • Understanding of IEPs and therapy documentation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexible, team-oriented attitude
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct, in-class and pull-out speech/language therapy under SLP supervision
  • Implement individualized therapy plans designed by supervising SLPs
  • Assist in completing progress notes and student documentation
  • Help prepare therapy materials
  • Support students in achieving their IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student progress
