School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time school-based position in Ludlow, Massachusetts for the 2026-2027 school year. This role supports students in a specialized high school program designed for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other learning differences. The program focuses on personalized instruction, communication development, and building skills for greater independence. Position Overview Full-time position (32.5 hours per week) High school student population Specialized educational setting Support students with a variety of communication needs Collaborative team environment The program emphasizes individualized support and preparation for success beyond the classroom. Key Responsibilities Provide speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Implement treatment plans and communication goals Support students using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices Assist with data collection, progress monitoring, and documentation Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Promote functional communication and independence skills Required Qualifications Must meet Massachusetts requirements for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants Strong AAC device experience is required Experience working with students with autism and complex communication needs preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Why Apply?
