Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for contract service during the 2026 calendar school year in the Baltimore, MD area. This role supports K-12 students across multiple school settings, including preschool, elementary, and middle school levels. Candidates should hold active Maryland professional licensure and be prepared to provide direct therapy and supervision for supportive personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language pathology services to students aged preschool through 8th grade. Work in community preschool sites, elementary schools, and middle schools on itinerant or assigned caseloads. Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLP-As) while coordinating treatment plans. Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with educators and families to support student progress. Provide services Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling between full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time (30 hours/week) options.Qualifications:
Active Maryland Professional Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings preferred. Ability to travel daily between assigned schools and community sites. Strong communication and organizational skills. Willingness to extend assignment into Extended School Year (ESY) services in July 2026, if desired.Locations and Schedule:
Community Preschool locations (daily itinerant services for preschool-aged children). Magnolia Elementary (3 days per week) and Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days per week). Aberdeen Middle School (part-time or full-time with supervision responsibilities). Contract durations range from January 9, 2026, through June 18, 2026, with possible extensions into ESY.
