9646377-63301 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant serving an elementary school in a dynamic educational environment near St. Charles, MO. This contract assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through mid-October, providing critical leave coverage. With a consistent full-time schedule at a single elementary campus, you'll immerse yourself in a supportive setting, working directly with students who benefit from your expertise and compassion.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Missouri SLPA license is required Prior experience within school settings or pediatric populations is highly valued Capable of effectively managing an elementary caseload and adapting to changing needs Must complete district fingerprinting and provide TCN number for credentialing Able to promptly complete necessary hiring and contractor documentation
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language support services to elementary-aged students as outlined by supervising clinicians and students IEPs Track student progress, maintain accurate session notes, and communicate milestones to stakeholders Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary professionals to address speech and language needs Assist in developing and implementing evidence-based activities to support student communication goals Ensure compliance with district protocols, confidentiality requirements, and credentialing standards Why consider this position?
