School-Based Speech Therapist Assistant - Cary, North Carolina Soliant - 3.9 Cary, NC Job Details Full-time | Contract 10 days ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Working with individuals with speech impairments Full Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a meaningful contract role as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant serving students near Cary, NC. This on-site opportunity begins August 24, 2026, and continues through June 9, 2027, aligning with the academic calendar. You'll make a direct impact by supporting student communication goals, collaborating with educators, and ensuring high-quality, compliant documentation. What we're seeking: Experience providing therapy in a school setting and documenting progress Familiarity with Google Drive and Microsoft Office for efficient records and team communication Valid registration with the speech board in North Carolina, or eligibility for full or temporary SLPA registration Dedication to working full-time throughout the academic year Strong collaborative and organizational skills Commitment to on-site work with flexibility on school assignments and caseloads In this position, you'll: Deliver therapy sessions and support communication goals for students in a K-12 setting (age group and caseloads to be determined) Collaborate closely with supervising SLPs and other educational professionals Maintain accurate records in accordance with legal and district requirements Participate in ongoing professional development as needed Communicate effectively with the team and contribute to a positive school environment Upon hire, you will be paired with a supervisor and begin registration with the North Carolina Board of Examiners if not already completed.
