Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)/ Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Pediatric /

Pediatric Schedule:

Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 AM-3:30 PM Key Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and/or co-treatment speech and language therapy sessions based on student needs and established goals. Support students with speech, language, and communication challenges. Provide therapy targeting language development and articulation skills. Follow individualized treatment plans and therapy goals. Educate and support families to encourage carryover of skills into daily activities. Collaborate with parents, educators, SLPs, and other members of the care team. Maintain accurate clinical and treatment documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and requirements. Monitor student progress and communicate observations with supervising SLPs. Participate in team-based care and contribute to a positive learning environment. Student Population & Caseload Primarily K-8 students Limited preschool population Approximately 38-46 visits per week Common therapy needs include language and articulation Qualifications Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)/ Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification/licensure in North Carolina. Strong interest in working with pediatric and school-aged populations. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, educators, and clinical staff. New graduate SLPAs are encouraged to apply.
