Company Overview Speakeasy Therapy Services, LLC is a dedicated pediatric therapy provider with multiple locations, specializing in speech, occupational, and physical therapy. Recognized for our collaborative approach and family-centered care, we strive to create a welcoming environment that feels like home for our clients and their families. Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our dynamic team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to support speech therapy services for children across various settings, including clinics, schools, and early intervention programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pediatric communication development and be eager to contribute to meaningful progress in young clients' lives. Responsibilities Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs. Support therapy sessions focused on speech therapy goals, including articulation, language development, and social communication. Work closely with children in diverse environments such as clinics, schools, or early intervention settings to promote effective communication skills. Monitor and document client progress accurately, providing feedback to supervising clinicians. Engage with families to promote carryover strategies and reinforce therapy techniques at home. Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment conducive to therapeutic success. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other plans. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in pediatric or school settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of speech therapy techniques, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to communication disorders. Familiarity with early intervention practices and the development of communication skills in pediatrics. Strong understanding of IEP processes and collaboration with educational teams. Ability to work effectively with students who have diverse needs related to speech and language development. Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude toward working with children and families. Relevant certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant is required or pending approval.
