Description:
Ohio ENT & Allergy Physicians are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Aide to join our team. In this role, you will assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists with clinical and administrative tasks. The SLP Aide is also responsible for greetings patients, rooming patients, completing chart documentation, cleaning exam rooms/instruments/scopes, answering phones and returning patient calls in a timely manner. K, Paid STD/LTD/Life Work Environmental:
Medical office environment. Mondays-Fridays | 7:45am-4:30pm. Occasional overtime may be required. PM20 Key Responsibilities Assisting with clinic schedule changes by contacting all patients on schedule and rescheduling for future appointments. Obtain prior authorizations for voice evaluation and voice therapy. Answer SLP portal messages/patients calls regarding testing or general voice questions. Prepare patients for telehealth visits. Assist on physician procedure days by processing side channel scope and obtaining patient consents prior to procedure.
Requirements:
Skills/Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Maintain CPR certification. A minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office environment desired. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Physicians and all co-workers. Adheres to all HIPAA privacy and security regulations and guidelines. Must be aware of and comply with all OSHA standards and guidelines.
