EMIT Learning is seeking a dedicated School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Knappa, OR , for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year .

Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) School Year (2026 - 2027)
Job Type:
Part Time Start Date:
August 2026
End Date:
June 2027 (with the possibility of extension)
Schedule:
20-24 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break included
License Required:
Valid Oregon SLPA License Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities developed by the supervising SLP. Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and other communication needs. Maintain accurate therapy documentation, daily session notes, and student progress records. Assist with speech and language screenings, data collection, and preparation of therapy materials.
Qualifications:
Current Oregon SLPA license (or eligibility for licensure). Previous experience working with pediatric populations in a school or clinical setting is preferred.
