Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a vital role supporting PreK-6th grade students in a welcoming elementary school located in northern Denver. With a caseload of approximately 40-50 students—including roughly 10 PreK children—your expertise will support a well-balanced mix of mild/moderate and moderate/severe needs. This full-time contract opportunity involves working 37.5 hours per week in a supportive environment that values both early-career clinicians and seasoned SLPs. You'll collaborate with a kind, smaller district known for its openness to travel professionals and those moving through the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credentialing process. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are essential to best serve this community.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active or in-process Colorado Department of Education license (share current status with submission) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status accepted Bilingual in English and Spanish required School-based SLP experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy to PreK-6th graders Manage evaluations, service notes, and all related documentation Serve as case manager for students whose IEPs require only speech services Collaborate with instructional teams to develop strategies and support student progress Participate in a thorough two-step interview process: initial Teams screening followed by a panel interview (onsite or virtual) This district stands out for its collaborative culture and its willingness to support CF supervision.
