A Speech Language Pathology Assistant assists licensed speech language pathologists in treating people with speech and language or other communication disorders or swallowing disorders. Assists with screening and helps patients with therapy activities. Works with adults or children and helps to treat a variety of speech disorders or communication problems created by stroke or injury.

What the position looks like:
Part-time:
approximately 15-20 hours/week to start Opportunity to increase hours as caseload grows 30-minute pediatric treatment sessions DYNAMIC schedule. Combination of clinic-based, school-based, and community-based services Established caseload with a growing referral list Flexible scheduling Supportive supervision from an experienced pediatric SLP Primarily speech, language, articulation, phonological, and early communication treatment Opportunity to gain experience alongside specialty pediatric services in feeding and AACCompensation $33-$37/hour, based on experience (inquire about SLP and CF rates) W-2 position with compensation for required documentation, meetings, and supervision-related responsibilities. We're looking for someone who: Holds or is eligible for appropriate Maryland SLPA licensure Has experience or a strong interest in pediatrics Is warm, playful, creative, and dependable Values family-centered and individualized care Communicates effectively with parents, teachers, and supervising clinicians Is organized and able to complete documentation efficiently Wants to grow with a developing pediatric private practice Why Momma's Light?
