Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our dynamic team at our Rock Hill Outpatient location! In this vital role, you will support licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering high-quality therapy services across various settings including homes, schools, and our innovative sensory gym. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities and developmental delays, helping them achieve meaningful communication milestones. Responsibilities Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized therapy plans for children with speech, language, and communication challenges Support therapy sessions focused on child language development, early intervention, and working with students with disabilities Prepare therapy materials and set up equipment for sessions in various environments such as schools, homes, or telehealth platforms Monitor and document progress of children during therapy activities to ensure goals are met effectively Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive care plans aligned with IEP (Individualized Education Program) requirements Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and related documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Engage in ongoing training related to physiology knowledge, anatomy, medical terminology, and pediatric therapy techniques Skills Prior experience working in acute care settings or school environments is highly desirable Strong understanding of speech therapy principles and child language development stages Knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to speech-language pathology Familiarity with medical terminology used in pediatric healthcare settings Experience supporting telehealth therapy sessions is a plus Passion for working with children and individuals with disabilities in diverse settings including early intervention programs and schools Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Join us at Therapy World, LLC where your dedication will directly impact children's lives! Pay:
$38.21 - $48.81 per hour
