This full-time, contract position is ideal for compassionate professionals energized by helping children strengthen their communication skills and succeed in the classroom environment. You'll collaborate closely with a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist to implement evidence-based treatment plans and ensure each student receives targeted support tailored to their unique needs. Your work will play a vital role in fostering growth, confidence, and essential communication abilities in students, contributing to their overall academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy sessions as outlined by the supervising SLP Collect, document, and maintain accurate data and therapy progress notes Assist with screenings for speech, language, and hearing under SLP direction Prepare therapy materials and facilitate classroom-based interventions Maintain organized and confidential student records Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and educational professionals Participate in implementation and follow-through of IEPs as designed by the SLP Uphold all relevant state, district, and professional guidelines

Minimum Qualifications:

Active Texas SLPA License (TDLR) Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or related qualifying field Completion of state-required clinical observation and assisting experience Ability to work effectively under SLP supervision Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not required If you're passionate about supporting children's growth and eager to collaborate in a school setting, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.
