Full time, W2 contract position Are you a talented and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) looking for an exciting opportunity in the field of education? Sunbelt, a leading staffing agency in the healthcare and education sectors, is seeking a dedicated and skilled SLPA to join our team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to implement individualized treatment plans and interventions for students with speech and language disorders Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting, following established protocols and goals Assist in developing and implementing strategies and techniques to enhance students' communication and language abilities Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic success Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork Stay informed about the latest research, techniques, and trends in speech-language pathology to provide evidence-based services
Qualifications:
Texas SLPA license Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field Previous experience working as an SLPA in a school setting is preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, students, and parents Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse student populations and changing environments Proficiency in maintaining accurate and organized records and documentation Must pass a background check and meet all other compliance requirements
