Qualifications:

Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license or certification in Texas Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) is strongly preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary education teams Passion for assisting students in developing speech, language, and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by supervising SLPs, following established treatment plans Document student progress and session outcomes accurately and timely Assist in conducting screenings and implementing intervention strategies Support generalization of speech/language skills within classroom and school environments Communicate regularly with supervising SLP, teachers, and parents regarding student progress and needs Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
