Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting local schools. This full-time opportunity will allow you to make a significant impact on students' communication and academic success. We are seeking four dedicated SLPAs to work collaboratively alongside professional teams and help foster stronger connections for bilingual learners. Your expertise will facilitate speech and language development, while your bilingual abilities will ensure every child receives accessible, equitable care. Enjoy the satisfaction of watching students grow as you deliver interventions and assist with assessments to meet their unique needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active SLPA license required Previous experience working in a school-based setting strongly preferred Bilingual proficiency is a must (spoken and written) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate closely with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families Compassion, patience, and a strong commitment to helping students succeed
Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of speech and language therapy plans under SLP supervision Conduct group and individual sessions for students requiring speech/language support Assist with screenings, documentation, and progress reporting Adapt strategies to meet the cultural and linguistic needs of bilingual students Communicate progress effectively to teachers and families Participate in IEP meetings and school team activities as needed Here, your bilingual talent is not just a skill—it's an essential asset to help bridge learning gaps.
