Job Description
Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting schools along the beautiful Southeast Texas Coast! Full-time SLPA support is needed during the first six weeks of the upcoming school year, as the district's direct hires complete required observation hours for licensure. Work with a collaborative school team to provide essential speech-language services to students, making a positive impact during a critical transition period. In this dynamic setting, you'll work approximately 35 hours per week, with school assignments and caseload details being finalized soon. Up to four SLPAs will be brought on to ensure students receive the services they need from day one. This assignment is scheduled to begin August 10, 2026, and continue through September 25, 2026. Extension beyond this timeframe is possible, depending on district needs.
