Starting on August 10, 2026, and continuing through September 25, 2026, SLPAs will be an integral part of the district's special education services by helping substitute for permanent staff while they complete mandatory observation hours for licensure. Up to four SLPAs are needed to help cover this essential support, making collaboration and flexibility key attributes for success. Qualifications:

Active Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) required Practical knowledge and experience with school-based SLPA responsibilities preferred Ability to complete mandatory Texas fingerprinting for credentialing (if not already in system) Adaptability to quickly learn and serve a dynamic student population across potentially changing school assignments Commitment to professional communication and timely service

Responsibilities:
