Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Corpus Christi, TX ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Corpus Christi, TX Job Details Full-time | Contract 16 hours ago Qualifications SLPA License Full Job Description Make a direct impact in the upcoming school year by providing essential support as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Southeast Texas. This full-time, contract opportunity begins August 10, 2026, and is projected to run for approximately six weeks, supporting a district team as they onboard new hires working toward licensure. This singular chance to help launch the year successfully is ideal for professionals ready to step into a dynamic environment and collaborate with educators and students in the school setting.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

Active Texas SLPA licensure required Experience supporting speech-language services in schools strongly preferred Familiarity with K-12 age groups or a demonstrated ability to adapt to varying student needs Willingness to complete Texas fingerprinting promptly (if not already up-to-date in the system) Flexible, team-oriented, and responsive to changing workloads and assignments Not open to former employees; this search seeks new talent to support district goals

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech-language services to assigned caseloads of K-12 students Collaborate closely with supervising SLPs and school staff Maintain detailed, confidential documentation of student progress Support with screenings, therapy, and carryover of individualized communication goals Adapt plans as needed, based on student response and district guidelines Communicate observations and recommendations with the clinical and educational team The assignment is anticipated to cover full-time hours (35 per week) for an estimated six weeks with potential for extension based on district needs.
