Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply! This position is a great opportunity for someone who has recently earned a bachelor's degree in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology (ASLP), Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD), Speech-Language Pathology, or a similar field and is interested in gaining hands-on clinical experience. Already having an SLPA license is not required to apply. For qualified candidates working toward SLPA licensure, we are willing to help you obtain the supervised clinical hours needed to meet SLPA licensing requirements. The SLPA will work closely with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement treatment plans and provide engaging therapy to children with a variety of communication needs. We are looking for someone who is dependable, energetic, eager to learn, and passionate about working with children. Responsibilities Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to implement individualized speech and language therapy plans. Provide therapy activities targeting areas such as articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social communication, and other communication skills. Work with pediatric and adult clients with a variety of diagnoses and developmental needs. Prepare engaging, age-appropriate therapy activities based on each child's goals. Accurately document therapy sessions and track client progress. Communicate effectively with the supervising SLP, families, and other members of the care team. Support telehealth therapy sessions when applicable. Help create a positive and encouraging therapy environment where children feel comfortable participating and communicating. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology (ASLP), Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD), Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field. Recent graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply. Current SLPA license or eligibility to pursue SLPA licensure. Candidates who still need supervised clinical hours for SLPA licensure are encouraged to apply—we are willing to assist with completing those hours. Experience working with children is preferred but extensive clinical experience is not required. Basic understanding of speech and language development and communication disorders. Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and work closely with the supervising SLP. Dependable, organized, patient, and comfortable working with children and families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to accurately document therapy sessions and follow established treatment plans.
