Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for school and clinic-based roles. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to help deliver therapy services, implement treatment plans, and support communication goals for students with diverse needs. Key Responsibilities Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Assist with the preparation and organization of therapy materials and activities. Document student progress during therapy sessions and report observations to the supervising SLP. Support data collection for progress monitoring and IEP development. Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student communication across settings. Maintain confidentiality and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines. Participate in training, supervision meetings, and professional development as required. Qualifications Valid state licensure or registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (as required by [State]). Experience working with school-aged children is preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
