This full- or part-time position begins August 11, 2026, and continues through May 26, 2027, offering the chance to work primarily at one campus with possible support to a second site. Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Valid, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license Experience or strong interest in educational settings (elementary, middle, high school) Familiarity with AAC devices in school-based applications is highly valued Must complete state-required fingerprinting and background checks in a timely manner Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, students, and families Organized, adaptable, and skilled at managing caseloads of 8090 students (in some cases, up to 100) Commitment to following ethical and professional guidelines

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services under supervision of a certified SLP Support students using AAC devices, facilitating communication breakthroughs in group and individual settings Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute feedback for IEP meetings Travel to a second school site as assigned, based on student need and your location Follow all district, state, and federal guidelines for service delivery and documentation Preference will be given to candidates who have not previously worked for the district or been terminated from school district employment (an affidavit will be required).
