Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. We're seeking skilled School Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) to join a dedicated team for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This contract opportunity features multiple openings across K-12 grade levels, so you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on learners throughout the district. Your specialized skills and commitment to helping children thrive will be celebrated in an environment that values expertise and compassion, working consistently during school hours in partnership with educators and licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
What We're Looking For:
Active SLPA license issued by the state of Texas Previous experience or strong interest in school-based settings supporting K-12 Understanding of best practices in speech-language pathology assistance Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Passion for working with students of varied backgrounds and abilities
Role Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans developed by supervising SLPs for students with communication needs Deliver direct intervention and monitor student progress in accordance with IEPs Maintain detailed session notes and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Adapt therapeutic strategies to optimize students' engagement and success Engage with families and staff to support each child's communication development
