Key Qualifications and Experience:

Associate's degree from an accredited SLPA program or equivalent Valid state licensure/registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Previous experience working with school-age children (preferred but not required) Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt activities to varied student needs and grade levels, from PreK to 5th grade Energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to fostering student growth

Responsibilities:

Implement prescribed speech-language therapy activities under supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist Deliver services to students individually or in small groups, helping them improve speech, language, and communication skills Assist in data collection, documentation, and progress monitoring for each student on your caseload Prepare engaging materials and adapt activities to fit individual student goals and abilities Communicate regularly with supervising SLP and support team regarding student progress and needs Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as required Enjoy the fulfillment of helping children achieve their communication milestones in a dynamic school environment, working from ASAP through May 28th.
