Qualifications & Experience Active Texas SLPA licensure required Previous experience in school-based speech-language support is highly valued Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills Ability to effectively organize, document, and manage a diverse school-based caseload Fingerprints and drug screening required prior to start date Key Responsibilities Deliver speech-language services according to IEPs at two elementary, one middle, and one high school Coordinate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and other support staff Track student progress, maintain records, and assist in progress reporting Implement therapy plans and adapt materials to meet individual student needs Foster an encouraging and supportive environment for students' growth This contract will run from September 1, 2026, through May 20, 2027, and consists of 37.5 hours weekly—providing you with a stable, full-time schedule throughout the school year.
