ABOUT US
Speech Breakthroughs PLLC is a speech-language pathology practice in McKinney, TX serving children and adults. We are a neurodiversity-affirming practice specializing in AAC, language development, and articulation. We are a collaborative team that values clinical excellence, creativity, and genuine connection with the clients and families we serve. We are growing and looking for a motivated, dedicated SLPA to join our team. If you thrive in a structured, supportive environment where your work truly matters, we want to hear from you.
THE ROLE
As an SLPA at Speech Breakthroughs, you will deliver 30-minute direct therapy sessions under the supervision of our Clinical Director, a licensed CCC-SLP. This position starts part-time and will build toward a full caseload.
Target start date:
October 2026 ✔ Deliver 30-minute direct therapy sessions per the individualized treatment plan ✔ Complete session documentation accurately and on time ✔ Communicate professionally with clients and families after sessions ✔ Collaborate with the supervising SLP on client progress and therapy goals ✔ Bring creativity and initiative to therapy planning and delivery
COMPENSATION
This is a W-2 employee position. Compensation is structured as a per-session rate ranging from $25 to $34 per speech session.
QUALIFICATIONS
✔ Current Texas SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date) ✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and families ✔ Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented ✔ Passion for working with children and adults with communication needs ✔ Experience with AAC or neurodiversity-affirming approaches (preferred, not required)
