Part Time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Pearland, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract 23 hours ago Qualifications Bilingual Full Job Description Part Time Bilingual Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) A great elementary school in the Pearland, TX area is now looking to hire a Bilingual Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026/2027 school year. This is a part-time, school-based position and the team is looking to interview as soon as possible to secure the best candidate. This position is ideal for a bilingual SLPA with school-based experience, especially someone who has previously worked in a Texas school setting. The campus has strong support in place, including a Bilingual SLP supervisor, an additional full-time monolingual SLP on site, and access to an AT Specialist for AAC implementation support.
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Bilingual SLP. Complete documentation, data collection, and other general SLPA duties. Support students across walk-in through 4th grade. Work with students in self-contained
ECSE, PEARS
functional skills/academics programming, resource, and behavioral support settings. Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, campus staff, and an AT Specialist to support student communication needs. Assist with AAC implementation and therapy carryover as needed.
Experience:
Previous school-based experience preferred. Texas school experience strongly preferred. Experience supporting students with AAC, functional communication, and diverse learning needs is a plus.
Education/Requirements:
Active Texas SLPA license/certification required. Bilingual skills required. Must be able to complete a quick background check to ensure fingerprints are cleared in the correct school system. Candidates who recently worked in a Texas school may already have fingerprints on file. If not, fingerprinting may cost approximately $40 (will be reimbursed) and is separate from TDLR requirements.
