Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment where your bilingual skills and expertise as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will truly make an impact. This contract position offers a full-time opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year, serving students in a supportive school setting. You'll collaborate with credentialed professionals dedicated to helping each student reach their communication goals. This assignment follows the school district calendar and includes a Monday-Friday schedule, allowing you to enjoy holidays and seasonal breaks. The exact number of campuses and caseload specifics will be determined upon assignment, but you'll have the chance to work across diverse age groups.
Qualifications:
Active SLPA licensure is required for this role. Demonstrated bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English strongly preferred). Previous experience providing SLPA services in schools is highly beneficial. Clearance from a fingerprint-based background check according to district requirements. Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and commitment to student growth.
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language pathology services under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Provide individualized and small group support to students, adapting techniques to their needs. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session notes. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care. Commit to the contract term from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027.
