Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field. Valid SLPA licensure for Virginia (or eligibility). Prior school-based or pediatric experience is a plus, but motivated new graduates are welcome. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of speech-language therapy programs under the supervision of a certified SLP. Work with students individually and in groups to promote positive communication outcomes. Document session notes and progress, maintaining up-to-date records in compliance with school policies. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive learning environments.
