Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Tacoma, WA Soliant - 3.9 Tacoma, WA Job Details Contract $26.88 - $46.88 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications SLPA License Full Job Description Passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are sought for contract opportunities supporting elementary and middle school students for the 2026-2027 academic year. These positions offer the chance to make a meaningful impact, working with diverse student populations in an engaging and collaborative school environment. You'll benefit from supervision and support provided by an experienced virtual SLP, ensuring continued professional growth while making a direct difference in students' communication development.

Key Qualifications:

Active or eligible for Washington SLPA licensure Completion of OSPI fingerprinting (or willingness to fulfill this requirement prior to start) Prior experience working in educational settings is valuable Middle school experience preferred for the middle school-focused role Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with school staff, students, and families

Role Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy to students under the guidance and supervision of a virtual SLP Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student communication needs Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation of session activities Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing professional learning With 37.5 hours per week, you'll enjoy a consistent schedule and the support of an experienced online SLP mentor.
