Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Take the opportunity to support students in grades 6-12 as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant covering for maternity leave. This contract position near New Berlin, WI, is available for full-time or part-time professionals, starting August 27th, 2026, and ending November 27th, 2026. You'll be a key team member during a vital period, working on-site in a school environment and impacting learners at a formative time.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

SLPA licensure or eligibility as required for school settings Previous experience providing speech and language services in schools, especially with middle and high school students, is preferred Ability to deliver effective direct and indirect services under SLP supervision Strong organization and communication skills Comfortable collaborating with educators and families

Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language services to students in grades 6-12, both individually and in group sessions Implement therapy plans designed by the supervising SLP Document progress and maintain required records Collaborate with special education teams as needed Focus solely on contracted therapy hours—no bus or lunch duty, parent pick-up/drop-off, or other district-adjacent tasks required
