Job Description
Job specific details:
- The Interim Sterile Processing Manager will be responsible for directing the daily operations of the department.
- Oversee instrument decontamination while managing departmental budgets.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards.
- Supervise cleaning, assembly sterilization and distribution of surgical instruments.
- Handle hiring, scheduling, performance appraisals, training and competency documentation.
- Manage operating budgets, control equipment maintenance contracts, and track surgical inventory.
- Responsible for 27 staff members including surgical technicians.
- Act as a liaison between sterile processing and the operating room staff.
- This person will report to the Interim Director of Perioperative Services.
- CRCST certification required.
- Must be able to start 2-3 weeks after acceptance. Interim Leadership at Aya Healthcare
- W2 pay: $2800-$2900/week
- Anticipated start date: 2-3 weeks after acceptance
