M-F Summary:
Performs all duties related to maintenance of accurate and cost effective Sterile Processing Department. Ensures all relevant documentation is current and accurate. Ensures that all regulatory requirements are met regarding cleaning, processing, and storage of instruments. Manages employees productivity levels ensure instrumentation is available for all cases. Collaborates with OR leadership to maintain working relationships with sterile processing department, OR department, as well as surgeons.
Other information:
Minimum of fours years clinical experience in the operating room setting or Sterile Processing department, with preferred clinical experience level of 8 years or greater of clinical experience. Certification in instrument processing required within the first 90 days of employment. Graduate from Accredited Scrub Tech program, college preferred. Bachelors degree preferred. Knowledgeable in surgical instrumentation.
Computer skills to include:
EPIC, Microsoft, PowerPoint, Instrument Tracking Software. This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
