We set the benchmark for high-acuity procedures in an outpatient setting nationwide. Our commitment to pioneering medical advancements is showcased through our state-of-the-art outpatient surgery centers and full-service clinics. DISC Surgery Center is seeking a part-time Sterile Processing Tech for our Carlsbad location. This position will work 2-3 days per week . This facility is open Monday - Friday. In this position, you will: Maintain instruments and equipment Prepare instrumentation, equipment, and sterile supplies for scheduled surgical procedures. Provide patient care to meet identified patient outcomes and achieve the center's goals as directed by the Administrator/Director of Nurses To ensure success in this role, you should have: Prior experience as a Sterile ProcessingTechnician Certification in Sterile Processing Understanding of sterilization and high-level disinfection technologies, including industry-standardized principles and practices in sterilization and disinfection Current BCLS Certification The ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl and lift
Pay Range:
$28.00 - $35.00/hour
