Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)

Shift:
Day 5x8-Hour (07:00
•15:30), Monday through Friday Duties Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, and packaging of surgical instruments and medical devices in accordance with established sterilization procedures. Operate sterilizers, endoscope reprocessors, and other medical equipment safely and effectively to ensure proper sterilization cycles. Manage inventory levels of sterile supplies and medical instruments, ensuring timely replenishment and accurate record-keeping. Adhere to strict aseptic techniques during instrument handling to prevent contamination. Reprocess endoscopes and other complex medical devices following manufacturer guidelines and infection prevention standards. Maintain detailed documentation of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and quality assurance records. Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare sterile instruments for upcoming procedures while ensuring compliance with infection prevention management protocols. Requirements Minimum 2 years
BLS-AHA IAHCSMM/HSPA
