Full Job Description Location:
UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora, CO.

Sterile Processing AIP Work Schedule:
Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Nights Pay:
$25.80 - $38.70 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Summary:
Develops and provides services related to the orientation, continuing education, and assessment of Sterile Processing Technicians.
Responsibilities :
Collaborates with department leaders and staff to assess learning needs and competencies of Sterile Processing staff. Develops, coordinates and implements competencies for new hire orientation. Assesses and documents the progress of new hires throughout orientation. Provides remediation if necessary. Develops, coordinates and implements required competencies, resources and continuing education for Sterile Processing staff.
Requirements:
High School diploma or
GED. CRCST
(Certified Registered Central Service Technician) through Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Technician) through CBSPD within 1 year.
Preferred:
CRCST at hire for those with direct sterile processing experience. 2 years of experience in Sterile Processing or as a Surgical Technologist in an operating room. Employees are our number one asset.
